Aliaa Gaber

Dr. Aliaa Gaber is a certified medical doctor living and working out of her offices in the UK. She studied for her degree medical degree in Egypt and has years of experience as a physician working at the hospital where she spent most of her time in the accident and emergency department. She is passionate about medicine and especially loves the fast-paced work that takes place in the emergency unit of the hospital, where there is no time to think but only to use carefully-honed knowledge to make snap decisions that result in saving lives. Since that time, she has continued her studies and she is now a highly qualified and trained specialist in medical cosmetics. She is fully insured and licensed in this field and uses her expertise to help her clients achieve a younger and more beautiful appearance. Her practice is based in two clinics as well as a mobile service in London,  with another office soon to open. She is fluent in Arabic and caters to the Middle Eastern clientele living in the UK. She also spends time as a volunteer in schools where she tries to help and motivate disadvantaged children.

 

Educational and Career Background

 

Although Dr. Aliaa Gaber was born in London and spent her childhood learning in the local schools, when it was time for her to study for her medical degree she chose to go to school in Alexandria, Egypt. After studying medicine and surgery, she earned a first class MBBcH degree and remained in Egypt to get valuable professional experience working at the esteemed Alexandria University Hospital, which is the teaching hospital where she earned her degree. She studied and worked in the hospital during the years 1999 through 2005 and when she finished studying and working, she returned to her hometown of London to begin her professional career. She then took a job at NHS as an Accident and Emergency Senior House Officer, where she takes on responsibilities for patients that go through the Accident and Emergency Department.

 

Specialising in Cosmetic Medicine

 

Continuing her studies into the field of aesthetic medicine, Dr. Aliaa Gaber entered a field where she can combine her love of art with her background knowledge of science to effect visible changes in people’s lives. She understands the connection with aesthetics and a patient’s self esteem and confidence, and shows great sensitivity in helping her clients achieve both. Her interest in cosmetic medicine also includes the field of dermatology and she regularly attends seminars, conferences and clinics held by leading specialists in the field. She has been trained in the procedures of botox, fillers, dermaroller, microdermabrasion, lip enhancements, mesotherapy, skin rejuvenation, chemical peels, Obaji and AQ products. She uses a combination of all of these services to improve the appearance of her clients. With her carefully studied skills, she treats acne, scars caused by acne, hyper pigmentation, sun spots, wrinkles, smile lines, cellulite, excess body fat, dull and uneven skin tone and hair loss. She is interested in the beauty and fashion that correlate with non-surgical cosmetic procedures. As such, her treatment preference lies in the “baby botox” look, rather than a plastic appearance, to give her clients a subtle and more natural look.

She finds her work exciting and loves the minute to minute decisions that she must face that take a direct effect on people’s lives who come into the emergency department.
